Bundoran

Bundoran is Ireland’s Premiere Seaside Resort located at the southern end of County Donegal in the province of Ulster in the Republic of Ireland. Its population is relatively small at just over 2,500 citizens, which swells to many more thousands during the summer months. Bundoran has been a traditional tourist resort since the 1700s attracting mainly visitors from Northern Ireland who flocked with their families to experience the “healing qualities” of the sea air.

Tullan Strand is a must see – and your first stop in Donegal (South to North) on the Wild Atlantic Way. This breathtaking beach offers amazing views of Donegal Bay as far as two of the Wild Atlantic Way Signature Discovery Points at Mullaghmore Head and Slieve League. Use it to walk, surf, SUP, Horseride or even do some shore angling!

If it’s action and excitement you’re after then any of our four surf schools will be happy to take you out for a surf lesson on any of the nearby beaches and who knows you could become the next Kelly Slater – we’re not called Ireland’s Surf Capital for nothing now!
