The 3rd annual Douzelage Young Musician’s Festival took place in Sušice, Czech Republic from June 20th to 24th 2024.
On the 16th of June 2024, the Douzelage handed over two minibusses to the Ukranian town of Kamianets-Podilskyi.
At the General Meeting in Sherborne, the new president is Shane Smyth (Ireland), Thorsten Wohleser (Austria), Maria Črnac Rocco (Croatia) and Evelin Koev (Bulgaria)
The 48th General Meeting of Douzelage takes place in Sherborne, United Kingdom from April 11th – 14th 2024. At this meeting the new presidency team is elected.
A totem marking Niederanven’s ongoing membership of Douzelage is unveiled as part of the periodical BeNeLux Douzelage group meeting.
Douzelage delegates from France, Slovenia and the Netherlands make the annual pilgrimage to Ireland for the national celebration of St Patrick’s Day – they march in the Bundoran parade and visit some attractions in the local area.
The Free Press Under Pressure project, organised by Douzelage Meerssen (NL) runs from November 6th – 8th in Maastricht, Netherlands.
The delegations gather in Rovinj, Croatia for the 47th General Meeting.
The new DouzYouth board is elected in Škofja Loka, Slovenia with president Zino Vreysen of Altea, Spain. Also on the board are Hannah Mc Nulty (Ireland), Ida Tornvigmadsen (Denmark), August Whittick (UK), Corinna Hacker (Germany) & Michelle Held (Netherlands)
First full GM (#46) since 2019 takes place in Škofja Loka, Slovenia which also coincides with the conclusion of the Juniors for Seniors project.
