The 42nd General Meeting is held in our German partner town of Bad Kötzting with the theme “Refugees in Europe – a challenge for us as Europeans, which we can only manage jointly. Europe has to get to the citizens again.”
Annigje Luns-Kruytbosch (NL) is elected as the fifth President of Douzelage. Mette Grith Sørensen (DK), Miha Ješe (SL) and Tiberiu Rotaru (RO) are elected by absolute majority as Vice Presidents of Douzelage.
Rovinj-Rovingo, Croatia is ratified at the General Meeting in Tryavna, Bulgaria and joins Douzelage
The 41st Douzelage General Meeting is held in our Bulgarian partner town of Tryavna.
The 40th Douzelage General Meeting is held in our Romanian partner town of Siret.
Following the decision of Karkkila to leave the organisation, Finland’s new representative town is Asikkala.
The 39th Douzelage General Meeting is held in our Latvian partner town of Sigulda.
The presidential term of Cezary Salamonczyk (Chojna – PL) President of Douzelage, Mike Balfour (Sherborne – UK) and Mario Calleja (Marsaskala – MT)- Vice-Presidents is agreed to be extended until 2016
The 38th Douzelage General Meeting is held in our Italian partner town of Bellagio.
