Oxelösund, Sweden becomes the 14th partner town to join the Douzelage
The 14th Douzelage General Meeting takes place in our Italian partner town of Bellagio.
The 13th Douzelage General Meeting takes place in our French partner town of Granville.
Jeremy Barker (Sherborne, UK), one of the founding fathers of the Douzelage organisation, is elected second president during the General Meeting in Bundoran, Ireland. Jean Marc Julienne of Granville is elected Vice President.
The town of Karkkila in Finland becomes the first town to expand the original family of Douzelage formed in 1991. They are the 13th member. They would subsequently leave the organisation in 2013.
The 12th Douzelage General Meeting takes place in our Irish partner town of Bundoran.
The 11th Douzelage General Meeting takes place in our Danish partner town of Holstebro.
The 10th Douzelage General Meeting takes place in our Portuguese partner town, Sesimbra.
The 9th Douzelage General Meeting takes place in our Belgian partner town of Houffalize.
