Art Project of Bad Kötzting and Sušice celebrated the fall of the Iron Curtain

Bad Kötzting and Sušice organized a joint art project from the 3rd to the 6th of October 2019: “Forest – Homeland – Without Border”
Artists from Bad Kötzting and Sušice – 3 of each town – created wooden sculptures in the Spa Gardens in Bad Kötzting. Students of both towns expressed in pictures or collages what “Homeland” means to them.
The historical background of this meeting was the 30th anniversary of the fall of Iron Curtain.
The word “Forest” stands for Bavarian Forest and Bohemian Forest – the large forest area that unites our two countries without borders today.
