Juniors for seniors – active ageing
Skofja Loka hosted the second event of Juniors for Seniors – Active Ageing on the 3rd till the 5th of September. Due to Covid-19 many of the participating towns could not physically attend the meeting, but were present via video connections and were also represented by several embassadors and students working/studying in Slovenia. The workshops pointed out that most challenges are more or less similar in the EU countries present. The ideas how to tackle the gap between young and old were many. Ideas like the establishment of an intergenerational center, organising courses that interest both younger and older inhabitants and many other ideas have been put on paper.
