Students from Asikkala help clean the beaches in Granville

At September 20th 2021 students from the Lycée Julliot la Morandiere in Granville and their teachers, together with students from Asikkala, helped to clean the beaches, assisted by a youth integration and training organisation.
It is part of an Erasmus+ project with Asikkala, set up after the teachers from both towns met in Asikkala at the Douzelage Education Meeting. 27 students from Granville will go to Finland in February 2022 with the return visit from the students from Asikkala set for May next year. The project they are working on is for the protection of a local natural environment, which for Granville is a section of the coastline.
