Škofja Loka celebrates St Patrick’s Day
It turns out our friends in Bundoran and Granville weren’t the only ones celebrating St Patrick’s Day recently!
The students and teachers of Gimnazija Škofja Loka in Slovenia also celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 in school!
Mr Gašper Kvartič, the teacher of Latin and a keen musician, invited two of the students Samo Čadež and Lana Pucihar to join Gašper’s friends »Turn on Irish« band for an Irish session, celebrating St. Patrick.
The students and teachers enjoyed one hour long live Irish music performance in the school hall.
