Young Europeans are being invited to take part in the Summer Academy as part of European Year of Youth taking place in County Donegal, Ireland.
The Assembly of European Regions (AER) Summer Academy 2022 takes place in Donegal, co-hosted by Donegal County Council and Udarás na Gaeltachta from 29th August until 1st September 2022.The venue is the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Donegal for the plenary conference and workshops, with excursions planned for delegates around the North West region.
This year the Summer Academy celebrates the European Year of Youth 2022 and Ireland’s 50th Anniversary of membership of the EU. The theme this year focuses on ‘A Europe for the Next Generation’. The event will be youth focused and themed around key topics such as climate change, skills and education, cross-border and transnational cohesion and reconciliation, remote working and entrepreneurship.

The tickets are heavily subsidised and Youth tickets for age 18 to 35 are €240 and include airport transfer, accommodation, all meals, excursions and access to the conference and workshops over 4 days. The only thing international delegates pay themselves would be the flights.
